Capturing the art of car design in wire
A Line Through Time –
The Cavallino in Scaglietti’s Hands
This work presents the Ferrari 250 GTO as a continuous profile, where the entire identity of the car is carried through a single uninterrupted line.
It reflects the hand of Sergio Scaglietti, where proportion and curvature are not decorative decisions but responses to function, balance, and instinctive craft. The silhouette becomes a record of authorship—each transition holding the discipline of its making.
Here, time is embedded in the line itself. The sculpture does not depict motion, but the accumulated decisions that shaped it.
