Arrested in Motion –
The Privilege of Sight

This work frames the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé as an object defined not by public familiarity, but by rare encounter.

Shaped under the direction of Rudolf Uhlenhaut, the form carries an inherent sense of exclusivity—an object more often understood through reputation than direct experience. The sculpture does not attempt to clarify or explain its subject. Instead, it positions the act of seeing as something exceptional in itself. Rarity here is not described, it is encountered.
